For many of us, the month of September feel almost like the start of a new year. For future candidates, it feels like the start of a new life.

 

Admissions

 

In the spirit of back to school season, we've put together all about registration for the Faculty of Computer Science admission contest.

Register conditions

Candidates for the admission contest can choose between one of the two sections of FCS.

Computer science, long duration (4 years)

  • The section prepares IT specialists (annalists, programmers, software developers, teachers, researchers).

  • The Admission contest takes place in July 2002:

    • registrations between 11 and 21 July,

    • written examination 23 July.

  • budgetary financing 130;

  • contest coefficient: 1/3 Baccalaureate mark +  2/3 written exam;

  • the written exam last for 3 hours;

  • one may choose to take the exam on one of the following topics:

    1. Algebra  XII and Mathematic Analysis XI;

    2. Algebra XII-a and Computer Science - the Baccalaureate curricula;

  • for budgetary financing, the contest coefficient has to be greater then 5 ( out of a maximum of 10)

Computer Science, short duration (3 years) 

  • The section prepares IT specialists in using software products and application maintenance.

  • The Admission contest takes place in July 2002:

    • registrations between 11 and 21 July,

    • written examination 23 July.

  • budgetary financing 50;

  • contest coefficient: 1/3 Baccalaureate mark +  2/3 written exam; (Algebra  XI, XII);

  • the written exam last for 3 hours;

  • fir budgetary financing, the contest coefficient has to be greater then 5 ( out of a maximum of 10).

Notes

  • there will be admitted within the Computer science faculty students that have won, during the last high school years, at the national school contest in computer science, mathematics or physics, at least 2 prizes, from witch at least one in computer science, mathematics or physics,

  • examination tax: 35 USD ( in lei, at the current valutary exchange course at the moment of the registration.
